Art Padilla named head of the Department of Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the NCSU College of Management

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Art Padilla, professor of direction at North Carolina State University's College of Management, is the new caput of the college's Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE). The assignment was announced this hebdomad by Individual Retirement Account R. Weiss, dean of the college, and is effectual July 1. The MIE section was established in 2007 to convey together mental faculty members who carry on research and learn in the countries of leadership, strategy, human resources and organizational development, as well as entrepreneurship, the direction of engineering and engineering transfer. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1978. Steve Barr, professor of management, was the inaugural caput of the MIE department. Prior to that appointment, he served eight old age as caput of the Department of Business Management which had included the MIE mental faculty as well as finance, information technology, marketing, and supply concatenation management.
