Stress on job-oriented educational system
GUNTUR: The educational system should be job-oriented, said College Education Commissioner GN Rao. Addressing principals of aided, unaided and authorities colleges and pupils here on Thursday, Rao said basic substructure would be developed in all grade colleges in the State. Jawahar Cognition Centres (JKCs) would be put up in aided, unaided and authorities grade colleges. About 400 instructors across the State are being trained by Infosys and they will move as incharges of JKCs, he said.Rao urged the principals to chalk out programs such as a manner that pupils acquire occupations soon after completing the grade course. The principals should keep regular contact with representatives of corporate houses to supply preparation to pupils according to their needs. Guntur territory have a good potentiality for the touristry industry. Hence, it is better to develop pupils as guides, he said.Later, interacting with students, who secured occupations in software system companies after undergoing preparation at JKCs, Rao urged them to state no to dowery and assist eliminate the societal evil.
